EP 106 How To Start Backpacking and Hiking Alone

Backpacking alone is NOT the easiest thing in the world to do. In fact, it can be downright uncomfortable or even scary at first, but if you’re willing to put in the work, being alone in the backcountry can be pretty darn incredible. On this episode of The By Land Podcast, I’m going to share with you what I’ve learned about backpacking and hiking alone and give you some tips and tricks on how you can get there yourself.

I won’t just cover HOW to backpack alone, but WHY you’d want to so in the first place, and what my personal journey has been (successes and failures).

Wherever you’re at in your backpacking journey, this episode will help you go from always having to hike in a group or with a partner, to embarking on an adventure by yourself.
