Solo Backpacking

A progression-based program designed to build confidence and prepare you for your first solo backpacking trip.

What to Expect

You'll be given weekly exercises and tasks to complete leading up to your capstone overnight backpacking trip, each building upon the other to strengthen your mental resilience and confidence so that by Week 6, it’s just another day in the woods.

Exercises include planning and preparation, regular hikes (partner and solo), journaling, and mental mapping to familiarize yourself with how your mind reacts to being alone.

This course is designed to take six full weeks from start to finish and will give you a massive leap forward in your solo adventures.
