By Land began as a tiny online blog in 2015 with the hope that maybe, through my personal experiences, I could help others find the outdoor adventure they’re looking for. I wanted to create a sincere approach to outdoor content, build a community, and provide a new voice within the outdoor space. A voice that was real, honest, and transparent about what actually happens out there in the wilderness, both mentally and physically.

After my PCT hike in 2017, I began producing a podcast, taught myself how to shoot and edit videos, and had the honor of helping people from all around the world sort through complicated topics to find what they’re searching for.

The journey has been incredible but I’m not even close to being done yet! I have much larger goals, but I can’t do it without you.

One of these bigger goals is to begin bringing in other writers and creators to produce content for pay so they can keep following their passions and I want to continue to improve the quality of writing, video, and podcasts being produced. To do that, it’ll take a community effort and that’s where you come in.
