PCT: Days 1-3

It was all I could do to just keep moving to camp.

PCT Days 1-3 Were Rough

I had the wrong shoes which caused my feet to overwork resulting in large matching blisters and the feeling of a stress fracture on my right foot.

On day two my feet were in bad shape.  I hiked the last 4.5 miles in Crocs.  It was all I could do to just keep moving to camp.

The following day, I limped for 2.5 miles before feeling relief.  Made it to Mount Laguna and bought new shoes.

I’m leaning to enjoy the miles between breaks instead of the breaks.  One step at a time and I'll get there.

All in all, I'm in good spirits.  My feet will heal.
