Episode 009 Women In The Outdoors with Ashli Baldwin

I was asked recently by an audience member what it's like to backpack as a woman, but I'm not a woman, so I reached out to Ashli Baldwin of www.tentside.com for input.  She joins me on this episode of The By Land Podcast to talk about what it's like for women in the outdoors.

We cover everything from women backpacking the Appalachian Trail, to mental differences between men and women, and even discuss the differences in gear for women.  We also touch on why we see more and more women getting outside these days to adventure in the wilderness.

If you're female and have questions about what it's like to hike a long trail or just go backpacking as woman, this episode is dedicated to you!  You're going to love what Ashli has to say about the topic of women in the outdoors and if you're like me, you'll learn a lot along the way as well.

Thanks for joining me for this episode.  Enjoy!
